1. Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google's OAuth service. When you use DevTrix tools, we process the code, files, prompts, and repository data you submit in order to return a result. We also keep basic usage logs — which tools you used and how many credits were spent — to operate the credit system.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to authenticate you, operate your daily credit balance, run the AI and code-execution tools you request, save items you choose to store in your Library or My Projects, and prevent abuse of the free credit system (for example, detecting multiple accounts created to farm credits).
3. Third-party services we rely on
DevTrix is built on a small set of infrastructure providers, and your data passes through them as follows:
- Supabase — stores your account data, credit balance, Library items, and My Projects, and handles Google sign-in
- Groq — processes the code and prompts you submit to AI tools (AI chat, code review, repository analysis, debugging, documentation, tests, commit messages, PR review) in order to generate a response
- Piston — executes code you run in the Cloud IDE
- GitHub API — if you connect GitHub, used to read repository data and, for AI PR Review, post comments you've approved
We don't sell your data to any third party, and these providers only receive what's necessary to perform the specific function you requested.
4. Data retention
Code and documents you save to your Library or My Projects are retained until you delete them. Usage and credit logs are retained to keep the credit system functioning correctly. If you delete your account, your stored data is removed.
5. Data security
Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled, meaning your account can only access its own data at the database level. All traffic between your browser and DevTrix is encrypted over HTTPS.
6. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete the code and documents saved in your Library or My Projects at any time from within DevTrix. You can delete your account entirely from Settings, and you can revoke DevTrix's access to your GitHub account at any time from GitHub's own settings page.
7. Cookies and local storage
DevTrix uses browser local storage only to remember your light/dark theme preference. We don't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
8. Children's privacy
DevTrix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as DevTrix evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through the contact details listed on the DevTrix homepage.
