1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a DevTrix account or using any DevTrix tool, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. What DevTrix is
DevTrix is a free developer platform that provides a Cloud IDE, AI code assistant, repository analysis, AI code review, debugging, code smell detection, test generation, documentation generation, AI commit messages, AI PR review, and a Library for saving code and generated documents. DevTrix is offered at no cost, without payment tiers, to everyone.
3. Accounts
You sign in to DevTrix using Google. You're responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account linked to DevTrix. We reserve the right to suspend accounts used to abuse the platform, including automated credit farming or attempts to bypass the credit system.
4. The credit system
Every account receives 100 credits per day, refreshed at a fixed reset time. Credits do not roll over, cannot currently be purchased, and unused credits are forfeited at reset. Each tool has a fixed credit cost, shown before you use it. When your daily balance reaches zero, tools requiring credits are locked until the next reset — you will not be charged, billed, or placed into a negative balance.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use DevTrix to generate malicious code, malware, or content intended to cause harm
- Attempt to circumvent, script around, or abuse the credit system or rate limits
- Create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits
- Use the platform to violate any applicable law or third party's rights
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of DevTrix or its underlying services
6. GitHub integration
If you connect a GitHub account, DevTrix requests permission to read your repositories and, for the AI PR Review tool specifically, to post review comments directly to your pull requests. Comments are only posted after you review the generated content and confirm. You can revoke DevTrix's GitHub access at any time from your GitHub account settings.
7. Your code and content
You retain full ownership of any code, files, or content you upload, write, or save to DevTrix, including items saved to your Library. We do not claim ownership over your code.
8. AI-generated output
Code reviews, generated tests, documentation, debug suggestions, commit messages, and other AI-generated output are produced by third-party AI models and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated output before relying on it, merging it, or deploying it to production.
9. Storage and the Library
My Projects and Library storage is provided on a fair-use basis. We do not currently enforce a hard storage limit, but we may introduce reasonable limits in the future if needed to keep the service sustainable and free.
10. Service availability
DevTrix is provided free of charge on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change, be added, or be removed over time as the platform evolves.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of the credit system or attempts to harm the platform or other users.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of DevTrix after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
